Jill & I opened The Wine Loft in Dayton as a result of our passion for fine food and wine. Jill being a gourmet cook and me (Jeff) being a wine collector, our friends loved when we entertained. What started out as an innocent curiosity in wine turned out to be an obsession, with many trips to Napa Valley, Sonoma, and Europe to experience the wonderful relationship between cuisine and fine wine. As an independently owned and operated restaurant, we now have the opportunity to share our personal experiences in food and wine trends brought back from excursions to the wine country. Our vision was realized when we opened our doors in October of 2009. We hope that you join us to experience an extension of our friends and family, enjoying fine cuisine and wine in a memorable environment. Cheers!

I am the General Manager and “sergeant-at-arms” at The Wine Loft. Dayton has been my home for many years – you may remember me from Bargos in Centerville, Sugars Night Club in Fairborn, or selling wine for Heidelberg. I have been in the hospitality industry over 20 years including wine bars, night clubs, sports bars, and hotels. I studied accounting and finance at UConn and Bowling Green. Born in the south Bronx and raised in Boston, my Italian family loves to cook and experience new wine. You can say fine cuisine and fine wine is in my blood. We opened The Wine Loft in 2009 and I am proud to invite you to share an experience like non-other in Dayton.
